چکیده
Canis Major OB1 (CMa OB1) is a Galactic stellar association with very intriguing star-formation scenario. There are more than two dozen known star clusters in its line of sight, but it not clear which ones physically associated CMa OB1. We use clustering code that employs 5-dimensional data from the Gaia DR2 catalogue to identify physical groups and obtain their astrometric parameters and, addition, we different isochrone-fitting methods estimate ages these groups. find 15 distances between 570 pc 1650 pc, including 10 previously 5 new open cluster candidates. Four groups, precisely youngest ($<$ 20 Myr), CMa05, CMa06, CMa07 CMa08, confirmed be part candidate, may progenitor runaway stars. CMa06 coincides well-studied R1 star-forming region. While still forming stars, due remaining material molecular cloud Sh 2-262 nebula, CMa08 seem evolved stages evolution, no recent activity. The properties fit well monolithic scenario formation, common formation mechanism, having suffered multiple episodes formation. This suggests hierarchical model alone, explains populations other parts same association, sufficient explain whole history.

Extremely Red Stellar Objects revealed by IPHAS
We present photometric analysis and follow-up spectroscopy for a population of extremely red stellar objects extracted from the point-source catalogue of the INT Photometric Hα Survey (IPHAS) of the northern galactic plane. The vast majority of these objects have no previous identification. Analysis of optical, nearand midinfrared photometry reveals that they are mostly highly-reddened asymptot...
متن کاملRr Lyrae Search and Stellar Populations Study in Canis Major: Preliminary Results
We present preliminary results of a RR Lyrae star search and stellar populations study performed in the Canis Major overdensity, spanning an area of 8.35sq deg. The observations were made in R and V bands, with the QUEST camera installed in the 1m Jurgen Stock Telescope, at the Venezuela National Observatory. The resulting Hess diagram shows a possible, but weak, red giant branch and no obvious...
متن کاملthe Canis Major stellar over - density as due to the Galactic warp
Proper-motion, star counts and photometric catalog simulations are used to explain the detected stellar over-density in the region of Canis Major, claimed to be the core of a disrupted dwarf galaxy (CMa, Martin et al. 2004, Bellazzini et al. 2004), as due to the Galactic warp and flare in the external disk. We compare the kinematics of CMa M-giant selected sample with surrounding Galactic disk ...

متن کاملThe Canis Major Star Forming Region
The shape of the main arc formed by the Canis Major clouds has been suggested to result from a supernova explosion possibly triggering the recent star formation activity. The presence of dozens of OB stars and reflection nebulae forms the CMa OB1/R1 associations. More than a hundred emission line stars are found in this region, including the famous Z CMa, a binary system containing a Herbig Be ...
